Luxury Vinyl Flooring
Vinyl planks should look like timber floors. It makes sense, doesn’t it?
The good news is NanoTac Vinyl Planks are designed with an authentic timber appearance in mind, with a depth of true colour and grain that you won’t always find in a vinyl plank.
Beautiful Detail, Depth of Colour
Available in Australian timber designs such as Blackbutt, Brushbox, Jarrah Spotted Gum and Kosciusko Grey Gum show off our classic Australian timbers, adding character and timeless beauty to any room.
Versatility of High-Quality Vinyl Planks
Vinyl planks have become very popular simply for their versatility. For instance, if you have ceramic tiles you want to change, but you don’t want to go to the trouble of lifting the existing tiles, vinyl planks can be laid over the tiles without too much trouble. It may require some feather finish to fill the grout lines, but the planks can easily be installed.
What about height?
Vinyl planks will only add about 3 – 4mm to the height of the existing flooring, so in normal circumstances, this shouldn’t create problems where it meets with other floor coverings such as carpet.
Vinyl planks have very little expansion-contraction, so in most scenarios there is no need for a 10mm expansion gap around the edge.
Vinyl planks are very hard wearing and can be used for both domestic and commercial areas with guarantees to match.
So what’s available?
There are both glue-down and loose lay varieties available, and we can advise you on what may best suit your situation.
Both are sold as a DIY product, but relevant to your skills we would advise that the loose lay vinyl is going to be much easier for the home-handy person to install.
TIP: Attractive patterns such as Herringbone can be achieved with planks and look amazing, but requires a greater skill to achieve, and is not for the novice to attempt.
